Dave with comedian Louie Anderson at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas |
With a new season in full swing, more than 85 million households can seehow beautiful it can be to go “green”. Each and every segment brings organic and sustainable solutions to over 80% of the nation’s gardens, coast to coast.
Each week I explore gardens, destination nurseries and enjoy beautiful plants in my travels cross-county. Each garden helps illustrate beautifully that being eco-friendly can be easy with a few simple steps and an eye for good plant choice and design.
Even when you might not think about it, we are advocating organic green methods in our Take Home Tips, for everything from vibrant roses to backyard vegetables!

Show 173, Daffodils/ Edible Gardens |
This season continues with my popular segment of garden visits with celebrities and prominent individuals.
Up next, comedian Louie Anderson and I get together at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
At the Springs Preserve, we leave behind the glitz and glamour of the Strip to connect with green architecture and sustainable gardens linking Las Vegas’ historic past with it’s bright eco-friendly future.
By request, encore presentations from time to time this year will feature Clint Eastwood, Kaye Ballard, Chicago’s eco-minded Mayor Richard M. Daley, and world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly.
Our award winning videography provides viewers with garden and plant visuals featuring the most colorful and dramatic cinematography of any garden/lifestyle show on TV.

First Lady Betty Ford |
Response to my “Ask Dave” segments featuring on-camera gardeners from all walks of life all across the Nation and Canada has been great! Each week I bring sustainable organic solutions to common questions about every aspect of gardening. Look for the crew and I appearing in your area; you might be the next gardener to “Ask Dave”.
In a recent show I received a thank you from the former First Lady Betty Ford for sharing the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail with all my viewers. The show segment of this important conservation garden will be repeated in mid 2008.
