Beautiful Native Plants, The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden
The SBBG is a living museum of native plants from throughout the California Floristic Province. The rich variety of plants represented from the varied regions of California, from seacoast cliffs to desert and high Sierra Mountains is astonishing. The Meadow Garden is the most popular attraction within the Garden with it's ever changing palette of flowers, grasses, perennials and low shrubs.
The distinctive willow sculpture is a focal point for the entire vista. The Garden has also introduced several selections of native plants including sages, heucheras, manzanitas and verbenas. These fine plants are available at garden centers across California and from the nursery on the Garden grounds.
The Garden Shop and Garden Growers Nursery are open daily
during normal hours.
