The Meadow Revolution: John Greenlee on Grasses.

John Greenlee is the nation's Grass Guru, orchestrating stunning landscapes of grasses to create rich meadow gardens. His meadows are low care, drought tolerant, and pesticide free while adding color, movement and light to gardens and public landscapes.
His nursery, Greenlee Nursery, in Chino, CA is open by appointment only, but a visit is well worth the effort. There you can see newly planted grass gardens and see samples of every grass that Greenlee offers. You can also purchase grasses online or by phone. Greenlee sells a huge selection of grasses suitable for every climate in the nation.
Greenlee is also author of the award winning book, The Encyclopedia of Ornamental Grasses.

A harvest of Heirloom Tomatoes, Cynthia Geske at Love Apple Farm

Cynthia Geske grows hundreds of incredible, tasty, and colorful heirloom tomatoes at her charming farmhouse in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Along with tomatoes she has extensive flower gardens, dahlias and a collection of exotic chickens.
Love Apple Farm is open for visits on Monday 9-6pm, Thursday 9-6pm and Saturday 9-4pm.
The self-service tomato stand offers tomatoes, seedlings, fruit, preserves and jams.
