Gathering a harvest of Garlic in the Garlic Capitol of the world: Christopher Ranch.
David Christopher took us through the harvest and processing of garlic at Christopher Ranch, one of the largest producers of garlic in the US, located right in the heart of the Garlic Capitol of California, Gilroy.
Each year Christopher Ranch grows, packs and ships almost 60 million pounds of fresh garlic. Christopher Ranch brand garlic products are available at supermarkets and fine groceries all across the country. Look for their products on store shelves or go to www.christopherranch.com for more information.
In addition, the Christopher Family was a leader in creating the popular Gilroy Garlic Festival, welcoming over 120,000 garlic lovers to this Central California town.
